Can CarbonicHeat™ MultiFloor film be installed on concrete and slab-on-grade subfloors?

Yes.

CarbonicHeat™ MultiFloor film can be installed on concrete and slab-on-grade subfloors. HOWEVER, it is necessary to install vapor barrier and thermal barrier between the CarbonicHeat film and the concrete.

ALL electric radiant heating products should have a thermal barrier between them and the concrete. Failing to do so will result in significant heat being lost into the concrete. The result is a longer heat up time, reduction of floor temperature and a much higher electricity cost than would be otherwise experienced.
